Labor Day Weekend….& MORE

Join us at the Labor Temple for LaborFest 2018 on Monday, Sept. 3. It’s always great energy — food, music, families, and everyone is in support of worker rights!  Here’s the flyer

Beginning Labor Day Weekend, you’ll find us and people of faith engaged in labor-related worship and education.  Learn more about locations and multi-faith resources on our website, HERE.

Worker Justice Wisconsin co-hosted a multi-faith press conference on Saturday, June 30, as part of a national day of action against current U.S. policies which separate and lock up young children and their asylum-seeking parents on our Mexican border.  Our partners were Dane Sanctuary Coalition, WI Faith Voices for Justice, and End Domestic Abuse Wisconsin.  An estimated 200 people filled the room to hear remarks from representatives from immigrant communities and a range of faiths.
Remarks by Worker Justice WI Executive Director Becky Schigiel were recorded and posted on our Facebook.  The text is available here.
