A showing of At the River I Stand!

Join the Interfaith Coalition for Worker Justice and First Unitarian Society for a showing of the film At the River I Stand. The showing will be on Sunday April 1st, 2012 from 4-6:30pm at First Unitarian Society in the Gaebler Living Room. First Unitarian Society is located at 900 University Bay Drive in Madison.

At the River I Stand is a documentary that recounts the 1968 Memphis sanitation workers’ strike and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s role in advocating for their rights. This struggle continues to inspire many today in the fight for social justice. This event will be the first of upcoming educational offerings from ICWJ so stay tuned!
