This video begins with the end of a march with Rev. Jesse Jackson around the Capitol Square and contains a half hour of speeches by Rev. Jackson (10:15), Rev. Jerry Folk (at 2:15), Rabbi Jonathan Biatch (4:11), Rev. Greg Armstrong (15:00), Muslim lay leader Sadat Abiri (16:50), Interfaith Coalition board member Jonathan Rosenblum (18:12), and Rev. Jerry Hancock (28:50). We were also honored by Elmore Nickelberry and Baxter Richard Leach, original strikers from the 1968 Memphis public worker strike that led Dr. King to deliver his “From the Mountaintop” speech. Note the light show of images of Dr. King and the Wisconsin Solidarity Fist projected on the Capitol wall behind the speakers.
