About Us

The Interfaith Coalition for Worker Justice of South Central Wisconsin (ICWJ), established in Madison in 1999, is a coalition of individuals, religious congregations, interfaith bodies, labor unions, and community organizations concerned about economic and worker justice. Our mission is to educate and mobilize the religious and labor communities of South Central Wisconsin on worker rights issues, to actively build relationships between faith and labor groups, and to support the rights of workers to organize and engage in collective bargaining.

I am very involved in the day to day protests at the capitol building. I’ve been working on the idea of forming an assemblage of Ministers, Rabbi’s, Nun and other persons to have a scheduled meeting with Gov. Scott Walker to discuss his economic and collective bargaining intentions. Would there be any interest or support available from your collective ?

Hi Matt,

A group of clergy have been meeting with Gov. Walker’s policy advisors and democratic legislators. These clergy continue to request meetings with Gov. Walker. Please look to the website for updates on this process very soon!
